Ngo Quyen’s Mid-Autumn night.
Each Mid-Autumn, the Ngo Quyen schoolyard lights up with lanterns — and with thousands of children’s smiles. Trang Yeu Thuong is the festival Humans of Ngo Quyen is always present for, to keep that light.
On some nights, the light comes not from the stage, but from hundreds of small lanterns in the children’s hands. Each lantern is a wish, a face turned upward toward the moon.
We did not try to make it dazzle. We only wanted to keep the warmth — of a schoolyard, a Mid-Autumn night, and the people who were there together.
